I am not really a big Facebook or Twitter guy. In fact I didn’t even have an account on either until last month! However I figured business was slumping, and I needed a boost to get things going again. My friend Eddie who runs owns a locksmith Chicago company and also a Philadelphia locksmith service as well as a office fit out Manchester based business told me that if I wanted to get things goin again I needed to look into this. So I decided to give twitter a go. I fired up my account and waited for people to find me, but no one ever did! LOL. Something that we have been thinkin of lately is installing underfloor heating to our facilities. After we updated our surveillance systems we had a little money left so I figured I’d give it a whirl, and boy am I glad I did! In fact I decided since we are so pleased with our decision I would write a little about it here. Is underfloor heating good for your home? The Pros
 
The system is a highly modernized feature – it gives warmth to living spaces inside homes to help protect inhabitants from the harsh outside elements. It allows you to enjoy having warm floors under your feet especially during winter mornings. With it, your property’s resale worth can also step into new levels should you decide to put it up.
 
Note that a large heating system can now afford you to do away with the need for bulky, and visible radiators inside your home, which means you now have extra space complete with clean, decorative finishes. Aside from that this particular heating system is widely thought to be more efficient than traditional heating systems because of the way the heat is being distributed to all corners, especially with the case of insulated windows, walls and doors.
 
The Cons
 
A common complaint among existing users of the heating system is the total time it would take to heat the whole living space, which is generally much slower as compared to its traditional counterparts. This means any room may take more time than the usual, depending on the system type used of course. You also need to be content with long time it takes to cool down.
 
In any case, this can be an issue should you need immediate warmth in your room, and especially if you depend fully on the underfloor system to provide the heat inside the house. Even with such drawback, good underfloor systems often have control panels, giving you a pre-program feature advantage.
 
It is also important to remember that not all underfloor systems are considered a total replacement for radiator systems. Smaller systems are designed to warm your floor, though they are not fully designed to heat the entire room sufficiently. This means you’ll need both.

For years I worked for a removals company and the time away from the states always made me appreciate the holidays a bit more when I was back. The holidays are a special time of year to be sure. Family gatherings and time with friends make for a season of love, fun, and joy. This time of the year is also when all of the great holiday food comes out. From turkey and stuffing, to eggnog and cookies, the holidays are the best time of year for your tummy.
 
I am a strong believer that good food should be celebrated year round, but this is especially true during the Christmas season. Expanding waistlines are inevitable, and the best way to lose weight is to hold off until the new year because any diet started during this time of year is sure to fail! So indulge a little bit in mom’s cooking and be sure to approach every dinner table with stretch jeans ready to go. The holidays are about good food, and this isn’t going to change any time soon!

The holidays are also a great time to throw parties. Even though I am busy studying my ACLS practice test I am still going to make time to party! If you haven’t done one yet you should definitely throw a Christmas party for you and your loved ones. We actually had one that turned out to be a great success. We rented a photo booth to take pics as well as a local band to play covers of some of the greatest songs from the 80′s! Nothing like having a party full of good food and friends to bring in the holiday joy, and tis the season to show off all of your amazing recipes. Don’t have any recipe’s you say? Regardless of who you are or where you are from, take the time this holiday season to enjoy in the great food and good times. Remember we are celebrating love and family, and what better way to do so then with some good eats! The holidays only come once a year, so go out and indulge a little bit. The treadmill will always be there for you, and you can join the thousands of other lemmings at the gym at the beginning of the new year.
 
Above all else aside from enjoying great food, be sure to spread the joy of the season with as many people as you can. Whether it be telling a loved one how much you mean to them or even volunteering your time to help those that are less fortunate, spread as much love as you can and be merry this season.
